Hudson Colombia Update

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear,… - Psalm 46:1-2a

We just wanted to write a quick note while we are here on the East coast on furlough. We have been quite busy with various ministry presentations and visiting different churches and many people. Peter has been preaching and doing Sunday School, as well as keeping up with things in Colombia and seminary studies. Peter’s parents even were able to visit for a few weeks and travel around with us. We are thankful to everyone who has hosted thus far, fed and housed us, prayed for us, and loved on us so well here and there (Colombia). We give God the glory for the support system that we have as it is not possible to be in Colombia without His help first and then your help. On Saturday, we will be traveling to Beaver Falls/Pittsburgh for the week.

The church in Colombia is doing well, and we are thankful for those who have stepped in to serve! We are seeing much growth in several of the young men. We would ask your prayers for some difficult situations down there and for those ministering to the people in need.

We said good-bye to our dog, Max, for two months, but he is in good hands with our teammates. He likes to participate in Colombian culture and check out some good ol’ coffee with milk. Please pray that his back and herniated disc would heal. He is a great asset in ministry!

This is the Robles family, and they are part of the ABWE Colombia team. Alejandro is Colombian, and he and his wife, Christa have two boys. They have graciously offered to be in Medellin while we are gone. Alejandro is filling in for Peter in the pastoral ministries. Please pray that God would use them mightily and that the boys would adjust well to a new city.

Visiting Providence Baptist Church in Boston, MA, and my college friend, Steve, and his family.

Please pray for our teammates, Marissa and Heidi. Marissa continues to have visa issues. She just returned to Colombia for a month but will have to leave again for 4 months. Heidi has been holding down the fort in Colombia with Max and the ministries, therefore pray for much needed strength and wisdom.
