Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people both now and forevermore. - Psalm 125:1-2
You who bring good news to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who bring good news to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with a shout, lift it up, do not be afraid; say to the towns of Judah, “Here is your God!” See, the Sovereign Lord comes with power, and he rules with a mighty arm. See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him. He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his
heart; he gently leads those that have young. - Isaiah 40:9-11
Dear friends and family,
I’m thankful for the opportunity to share how the Lord has been at work here and how you can be praying alongside us. Your faithful partnership in the Gospel continues to be a great encouragement.
We just wanted to write a quick update! We are rejoicing that Marissa received her one-year visa. It has already helped in so many ways to have her back. On Sunday, we had the privilege of celebrating María Fernanda and her little brother, Jeronimo, being baptized at church! Peter and I also got to dedicate our son, Zaion. The above verses are the ones we shared with the church as we cried tears of joy because of the blessing that Zaion is.
María Fernanda would also like to go to our seminary in Bogota. She has a heart for ministry, and we are praying the Lord would provide the funds she needs. If the Lord leads you to contribute, we are currently raising support for her through the seminary scholarship fund. https://give.abwe.org/projects/colombia-tenjo-seminary. Therefore, if you would like to see a scholarship go towards her, please put Maria Fernanda in where it says additional processing instructions. It is $1,750 USD per year and it is a 3 year program. See her testimony and more pictures of baptisms and the dedication below!

In other news, we will be leaving for the States for the first part of our western side furlough; however, we will make a stop in PA to show off Zaion to many of our beloved friends, family, and supporters. Please pray for a good trip and for an active boy who will have his first of long flights!
For the Kingdom,
Jamie, Peter, Zaion, and Max, the dog
Maria Fernanda’s Testimony:
There is little to tell about my life, but enough to see the glory of God and His great mercy. I was born into a Christian home, but with little biblical knowledge, where due to biblical confusion, it was difficult for us to please the Lord. However, even with the teachings of my parents, during my adolescence I made friends who influenced my life and led me to make many mistakes, distancing myself from the purpose God had for me. But, He does not break His promises and says in His Word that “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it”. Always accompanied by the love, discipline, and teachings of my parents in the path of the Lord, and by their prayers, they made me understand His great love and His purpose of salvation. While my parents were concerned about my rebellion, by the grace of the Lord, we had the great opportunity to get to know the church. Although we had many fears, we knew it was a response to the Lord in our lives. We have had the opportunity to meet people who have been a great blessing in our home, who reflect Christ and love Christ, and whose testimony of faith has been a great example in our lives. I thank God for each one of you, for your prayers, for your advice, and for the love you have shown me. Today, I can testify that my life belongs to the Lord, that my deepest desire is to serve Him every day and please Him. In moments of fear and doubt, I know He will be with me and help me persevere to the end.
“Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence. When I said,
My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up.” Psalm 94:17-18
FOR BY HIS GRACE, I WAS BORN AGAIN, HIS NAME HAS ALREADY FREED ME, ONLY
THROUGH CHRIST I AM WASHED. THANK YOU, LORD JESUS!
