“Therefore go, make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

Dear friends and family,

We know the verses so well, but are we putting them into action? Are we going and making disciples? Are we baptizing them and teaching them? Are we aware that truly He is with us to end of the age? As Peter comes to a close in preaching through the entire book of Matthew over the last two years, we pray not only for us but for our church and that they

would be the ones to put this all into action. We pray the same for you all and until He comes again, may many more come to know Him and be baptized and continue the process of multiplication!

The weekly ministries have continued as usual, but we want to highlight an upcoming ministry that will be taking place from June 5 (Peter’s birthday as well!) to June 15. Peter’s home church, Whitney Bible, will be sending a group of 9 people down to help out with kid’s club in the park, English classes at a school, and see other ministries we are involved

in around the city. We are getting ready for them to come, therefore pray with us for travel safety, great weather and for open hearts to the Gospel during this time. (Get ready for soccer even on some steep hills!)

On June 14, we will be celebrating 8 years of God’s faithfulness at Iglesia Esperanza Viva (Living Hope Church)! We also will have 3 baptisms! Peter has been working alongside of Esteban, little Samuel, and Marcela (Angie’s mom) as they publicly give their lives over to Christ and seek to follow Him all their days.

We also want to highlight the church plant, Belén Efrata (Bethlehem Ephrathah) that we have helped out with that started a few months ago. Viviana, our close missionary friend, moved to Medellín 6 years ago and served in the original plant where Peter did years ago. Just as Peter felt the call to move to Robledo and start a church plant, so Vivi and a Venezuelan family also had the same call years later. We are excited to see them grow as a church in a small community center that they are renting. Pray for strength and for more laborers as they reach those of Belén.
