Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
- John 20:21
Dear friends and family,
Peter, Zaion, and I are officially back for the second part of furlough on the west coast and what a true blessing it has been! We arrived October 24 and on the 25th, the missions conference for the area had its kick off. The above verse was the theme for the conference, and we pray that God will send many more to the mission field, but what a comfort it is that we don’t have to do it alone! Jesus is with us every step of the way!
We have enjoyed reconnecting and connecting with so many; being encouraged and spurred on in the faith; and being given the ability to share about the ministries in Colombia and talk about God’s faithfulness, along with so much more. We thank you thus far to Montana Avenue, New Hope Baptist, Kuna, & Meridian First Baptist for allowing us to present in your churches and providing us with great hospitality and food. Peter and I are so grateful for your love and mutual desire to see the Gospel reach to the ends of the earth. Zaion is also thankful for the really cool nurseries he has visited! :) For those that are worried about Max our dog, he continues to enjoy life in Medellín and is an integral part of ministry in several areas.
Our future plans are to visit a few other churches in Idaho and then enjoy Christmas here; however plans could change. Depending on airlines and flights, our goal is to head back to
Colombia the first week of January after speaking at a youth group conference in Washington.
Praises: Zaion turned 1! What a fun blessing it is to raise this little one and have so many people love on him. The Colombians celebrated with us before we left, and we did another one with both sets of grandparents and some cousins here in Idaho. Our prayer is that he grows up to love the Lord with all his heart, soul, mind, and strength.
Prayer Requests: for strength as we continue visiting churches; for Heidi and Marissa, our teammates, as they continue the work in Medellín; for Esperanza Viva, our church in
Colombia, to continue to serve its own neighborhood and reach out to the lost; for this upcoming holiday season and that Christ would be glorified; for our missionary friend, Vivi, and her team, and their new church plant in the city (Max is staying with her).
For the Kingdom,
Jamie, Peter, Zaion, and the doggie, Max
Happy bday Zaion! We love you! May you always know the Lord and His goodness!
Max and Vivi; Marissa has taken over my discipleship with Mari while I am gone, and Mari has finished reading through the Action Bible! Pray for her growth in the Lord.
Left- Crafts during Kid’s Time at church.
Right- Church Evangelism night; pray for the teens that heard the gospel for the first time!
